One of the greatest benefits of Bethany Beach Center is our abundant free parking. We have more than enough parking on our campus for all of our guests. Guests staying in Stone House may enter on Central Avenue and park adjacent to Stone House. All other guests should enter on Pennsylvania Ave to access the large parking areas.

Is Electric Car charging available?
There are six charging spaces on the perimeter of Bethany Beach Center. These spaces are open to our guests or other visitors to Bethany. While often busy during the day, these spaces are usually open in the late evening and early morning. The chargers are provided by EV Institute.
How does check-in work on day of arrival ?
The day before your arrival, Bethany Center staff will send you a welcome note for your group/family leader and a separate note for each physical lodging room included in your reservation. The individual room notes will include the assigned room number and information on arrival and for your stay. Many rooms have electronic door locks and if so the code will be provided in each note. For rooms with traditional keys, information will be included on pickup of the keys. The notes will also include the center staff contact number should your guests have any issues during their stay.

Our normal schedule is check-in after 5PM and check-out on day of departure by 11AM. If you plan to arrive after 7PM, please reach out to our center manager to make check-in arrangements. You are welcome to park at our campus before your check-in and after your check-out to spend a little more time in beautiful Bethany. You are also welcome to use our private outdoor showers which are sufficient for changing. Please refrain from entering the buildings before check-in or after check-out.

What time are meals served ?
If your group has selected meal service, our normal meal times are 8am for breakfast, 12pm for lunch and 6pm for dinner. Guests are asked to arrive at the Tabernacle Dining center on-time. Food may no longer be available for guests arriving more than 30 minutes late to meals. We ask that guests leave the dining area after an hour to allow our staff to clean the room and prepare for the next meal. Our reservation coordinator can provide costs and availability for meal service.
Are there places to eat if we don't select meal service ?
Great News! You are in Bethany Beach and there are many nice restaurants and a good number within walking distance. This <LINK> will take you to a great website listing many of our favorites. Please note that while some restaurants are open year-round, some have reduced hours or even close in the off-season. It is always good to confirm they are open outside the Memorial Day to Labor Day peak season.

Do the rooms have private bathrooms?
Please review our facilities page carefully. Some rooms have private bathrooms accessible within the room and others use shared bathrooms adjacent to your sleeping area. The facilities tab shows a map of each facility and explains the bathroom configuration. If you have questions, please ask our Reservation Coordinator when making arrangements.

Guests in Stone House have a small kitchen complete with refrigerator, microwave and stove. Rooms in Disciples House each offer a small refrigerator (no freezer). Bethany Beach Center strives to create a great environment for interaction apart from television but we do realize there are times that a little television or video makes sense. Today, our Stone House has television in the living room area. We recently added a new large screen television in our Tabernacle Lounge. We also have a few televisions on carts that may be helpful along with our projectors. Please bring any cables necessary to connect your device if applicable.
Is there housekeeping service provided?
To help keep prices low, we do not provide housekeeping services. Our staff provides paper products, trash bags and related items. We ask that at checkout that guests do basic cleanup of their rooms. We provide cleaning products, vacuums and other items in all lodging areas. Between stays our staff checks all rooms to make sure they are clean and ready for the next group.

Well the beach is amazing! It is just a short two blocks and you are on the sand. This <website> will give you all the rules for enjoying one of America's finest family beaches. The finest lifeguard team in America guards Bethany Beach full time from Memorial Day Saturday until Labor Day Monday and weekends throughout September. One IMPORTANT note when you return from the beach... Guests are required to use one of our 8 outdoor showers to remove sand before entering buildings. There is a fee for excessive sand cleanups from rooms or bathroom areas.

Do we need to bring beach gear ?
You are welcome to bring umbrellas, beach chairs, beach towels and such with you. The center does not provide these items. If you would prefer, there is a rental service on the beach offering chairs, umbrellas and other items Memorial through Labor Day. The town of Bethany is just a block from Bethany Center and offers a number of stores providing beach sundries.

What are the quiet hours?
Groups that are not reserving entire buildings are expected to follow reasonable quiet hours from 9pm until 7am. The town of Bethany Beach observes a curfew for youth under 18 years of age from 11pm until 5am. Groups will be warned of issues with quiet hours once but afterwards may be asked to leave the premises.

What are expectations of youth group leaders?
We love youth camps and the youth who join us !! If your group includes youth under 18, you will be asked to provide one or more adults responsible for any issues identified by the Bethany Beach Center manager. We expect that groups will manage reasonable behavior by the youth participating in their retreat. The Center Manager will inform the contact of any issues. A first formal warning will be given if issues with youth are not being addressed. Subsequent issues may result in the group being asked to leave the center.

How does Bethany Center help the environment ?
Bethany Center is very focused on preserving the majesty of Bethany Beach and our environment overall for generations to come. Our main Campbell Hall lodging facility has an extensive solar power array providing energy for your stay. Working with the town and environment officials, we have several natural spaces on the property designated as wetlands. During your stay you will see a variety of birds and occasionally even a turtle in these spaces. In our operations we strive to conserve wherever possible.

Are pets allowed on the premises?
We all love pets but managing their lodging and involvement in events can be challenging. We do allow dogs under 50 pounds to stay with guests. There is a pet fee of $50 charged per event stay. When outside, all dogs must be on leash at all times. Guests with pets are limited to our Disciples House lodging facility. Pet owners will agree to clean up after their own pet and will dispose of pet waste in the Bethany Center dumpster. Pet food may not be left outside any building overnight. Damage to any property at Bethany Center caused by pets will be charged to the pet owner.

Are alcoholic beverages permitted?
Generally alcoholic beverages are not permitted at Bethany Center outside of catered events where the beverages are provided by the caterer with advance permission. We are excited to welcome weddings and other similar events to Bethany Center and will work with you to achieve your vision for that event.
